The biggest wedding of the year is now out of the way - my sister is now married off and as a result of this, I now have to refer to one of my mates (in fact he's one of my partner's mates, originally) as my brother-in-law. That's going to take some getting used to...
So, I feel I've got a bit of time back, now that I'm not running to Liverpool (and various other weddings) every weekend or so.
It's all a bit exciting for me - feels like New Year and it means that I can rejuvenate plans I'd been putting off until 'after the wedding'.
So what have I been doing? Firstly, looking at new ways of time management. With more new recruits coming on board in my network marketing team I was finding it difficult to keep up with everyone on a regular basis - now I've got a bit more of a handle on that with my fancy new 'school timetable' system.
I basically colour block my Outlook calendar into sections (to cover the various business activities I have) and then stick to them like glue. It's worked well for the first week of the experiment. Let's see how far I get from now.
My upline in the business also came up with a nifty way for me to manage my contacts database - the bigger it gets, the more management it requires. So it's no more writing things down on pads or keeping a Rolodex of business cards - I now have a supreme (ly simple) system of writing every new contact in my Outlook contacts and link their follow-up to a date in the calendar. Too easy! But the discipline involved in this is killing me...am intending to make this a habit, in much the same way as I have with my daily 3pm pack of Jelly Tots...

As a bride-to-be on a tight budget, I recently discovered an online bridal jewelry store called GlamForLess.com.
Though their website is plain and simple, I found some great deals on jewelry sets for me and my bridesmaids.
I think other readers on a tight budget may also find GlamForLess.com to be helpful.
You may want to check them out at http://www.glamforless.com/ and inform other readers about it.
Keep up the good work.
Best regards,
Lisa Bloom
